Who we are
Teasepix lets a photographer upload a shoot, share a private link, and let their client pick favorite frames and leave notes. It is opening to photographers in waves, by invitation (early access). In this policy, “we” and “Teasepix” mean the service and the people who run it.
For the details of photographers who hold an account, we decide why and how they are used. For the photos in a gallery and the information about the people in them, the photographer decides, and we handle them on the photographer's behalf.

What this website collects
Very little. You can read every public page without an account.
- Nothing you type. There are no forms, comment boxes or email sign-ups on the public pages.
- No cookies and no analytics on these pages. We set no cookies and run no tracking or advertising scripts on the pages you are reading now. The site loads nothing from other websites: fonts, scripts and images all come from our own address.
- Ordinary request logs. Like any website, the server may record the address of your device, the time, the page requested, the response and the name of your browser, to keep the site secure and to fix faults. Query strings are not logged.
- The sample gallery on the home page. The frames you tap there stay in your browser tab. They are never sent to us.
- Email you send us. If you write to support@teasepix.com, we receive your address and what you wrote, and we use it to reply.
What an account holds
If you are a photographer with a Teasepix account, the service handles:
- Account details: your name, email address, profile picture and plan.
- Galleries: the photos you upload, the watermarked proofs made from them, and each gallery's title, link, password (stored only as a one-way hash), closing date and pick limit.
- Client activity: the picks and notes your clients make, and the name or email address you ask them to give.
- Basic records of use: when you sign in and what you change, to keep the service working and secure.
Teasepix does not take payments yet. When billing starts, payments will be handled by a payment provider and we will not store full card numbers. We will update this policy before that happens.
Galleries and the people in them
If you are a client who has opened a gallery, the photographer who sent you the link decides whom to share it with and is responsible for the photos in it. When you open a gallery we record:
- the frames you pick and the notes you write, so the photographer can see them;
- your name or email address, only if the photographer asked for it and you gave it;
- ordinary request logs, as described above;
- if the gallery has a password, a small cookie that remembers you entered it, for that gallery only and for no more than 7 days.
We do not look at the photos in a gallery, identify the people in them, or run face recognition or any other automated analysis on them. We use photos for one thing: showing them to the people the photographer chose. Our staff open a gallery only to fix a fault the photographer reported, with their say-so, to review a report of illegal content, or where the law requires it.
If you are shown in a photo and want it removed, write to support@teasepix.com with the link to the gallery.
Sign in with Google
Photographers can sign in to Teasepix with a Google account. This section says exactly what we receive from Google, what we do with it and how to remove it.
- What we ask Google for: only the basic sign-in scopes
openid,emailandprofile. From these we receive your name, your email address and your profile picture. - What we do not ask for: access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google service. Teasepix never reads your mailbox or your photo library. Photos reach Teasepix only when you upload them yourself.
- How we use it: your name and email identify your account and let us write to you about it. The picture, if you have one, is shown next to your name inside your own workspace. We do not use Google data for advertising, profiling or training any model, and we do not sell it.
- Who else sees it: nobody outside your workspace, except the providers that host and operate Teasepix for us under our instructions, or where the law requires it. Your clients see the name you use on your galleries, not your Google account details.
- How it is stored: inside your Teasepix account, protected like the rest of your data (see Security). We do not keep a Google access token after sign-in is complete, because we do not call any Google service afterwards.
- How to remove it: ask us to delete your account at support@teasepix.com and everything we received from Google goes with it. You can also remove Teasepix's access at any time in your Google Account, under Security, Your connections to third-party apps and services.
Teasepix's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Why we use it
Only to run Teasepix for you: to store and show your galleries, to record your clients' picks and notes, to send the reminders you switch on, to help when you write to us, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not sell personal information, rent it out or use it to show advertising.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Deleting a gallery removes its photos, proofs, picks and notes from the live service, and closing an account removes everything in it. Copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days as the normal backup cycle rolls on. If a plan ends, your galleries stay available to you for 30 days so you can export them, and are then deleted. Where the law requires us to keep a minimum record, such as proof of a payment, we keep only that.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, to export it or to delete it. Write to support@teasepix.com and say which. We will answer within 30 days. Where the law where you live gives you more rights than are listed here, you have those too, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
If your photographer holds your photos or picks and you want them changed or deleted, you can ask them, or ask us and we will pass it on.
Security
Every connection to Teasepix is encrypted (HTTPS). Originals are never served from a gallery, access to the servers is limited to the people who run the service, and gallery links are long and random. The security page describes the design in more detail, including what is not in place yet.
Children
Teasepix accounts are for adults who work as photographers. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Photographers may upload photos of children for their own clients, for example a family session; those photos are the photographer's responsibility, and we use them for nothing but running that gallery.
Changes and questions
We will update this page when the service changes, and the date at the top will move with it. If a change affects how we use personal information, we will tell account holders by email before it applies.
Questions go to support@teasepix.com. We read everything.
